#Estonia's opposition Estonian Centre Party has elected #Tallinn mayor Mihhail Kõlvart as the party's new chairman. Kõlvart won with 543 votes against MP Tanel Kiik who received 489 votes.

Currently, nightclubs in Tartu are allowed to sell alcohol around the clock, unlike in #Tallinn.

My wife and I bought this print in #Tallinn for our nursery after we got married in 2001. It took years before I figured out that it's a joke. "Morsk" is both walrus and seahorse in Estonian. This walrus is surprised to see a "morsk" and says "That's a strange walrus!"

I prefer more limitations to my driving ability and comfort in the car _for the safety_ of less protected commuters as well as increased satisfaction in the urban space.

At the same time there are constant news of passengers falling and getting insured during emergency braking.
Public transportation should have pedestrian safety systems as mandatory. These are some of the heaviest vehicles around.
A green city prioritizes public health.
