I just returned yesterday from a four day vacation at Donnelly, ID reconnecting with old college ski club friends, close friends for 40 years. Two days skiing at Tamarack, one of those days on several inches of freshies. Ran in the McCall Area Snowmobiler’s Annual Fun Run, 80 miles. Each fall I eagerly anticipate the Tamarack/Larch tree in my front yard turning gold. It is stunning with it's bright #gold needles or leaves. The #Tamarack is a deciduous conifer. It is a conifer as it has needles and seed cones but it loses the needles in the fall unlike other conifers.
