The next build will be a Gundam most likely but I'm gonna remember these Tamiya models the next time I wanna try building a car. Je vais la laisser comme ça pour le moment, le temps de m'y habituer et d'apprendre à mieux la piloter. On verra ensuite...

1. Sauve servo renforcé -> 30 minutes d'intervention et une direction plus précise.
2. Amortisseurs hydrauliques -> 2h d'assemblage/montage mais pas moyen d'essayer quoi que ce soit vu l'heure. À première vue, le mouvement de la suspension est bien plus progressif (ça tranche avec la précédente uniquement sur ressorts).
Vivement que je puisse essayer ça dans des conditions sympas 😁 .

Little by little, I'm unboxing my stuff in the new apartment. Today I cleaned off the #Tamiya #RCCars which includes a few customised chassis I built or bought down through the years. The zebra Landie runs a chopped #TL01 chassis under a toy shell, the black rock crawler is a #TLT01 on a custom frame & a hacked up #Kamtec body, the #Mini uses a twin motor mix of #MChassis bits. The #Grasshopper has been upgraded to a 540 motor, and the #Tt01 #BMW has a modified servo to run switchable lights.

Ça y est, le montage de ma voiture #RC est terminé. Je suis parti sur une base #Tamiya #TT02 parce que c'est un kit à assembler et que c'est un bon moyen pour apprendre.
C'est la seconde que je monte sur cette base donc je n'ai pas trop perdu de temps à bien comprendre la doc. Finalement, c'est la préparation de la carrosserie qui demande le plus de temps et de précision. La base en elle même ne présente pas de difficultés particulières de montage.

One of the things I did while weird.autos was down was help out with a display of scale models of Royal Malaysian Air Force aircraft for the Air Force Day Sunday Mass. Yes, I did contribute a model, it's the super dark F-5E as it turns out that #Tamiya Gunship Grey is waaaay darker than everyone else's. #scalemodels #Malaysia

タミヤ製 1/24 TOYOTA LAND CRUISER 80 VX LIMITEDが完成。
今回は自分の身内が長年所有していた車両を再現するというテーマを設けて製作。
車体色はブラックにしてブラックの上からクリアーブラックを吹き付けてからクリアーで仕上げて内装はグレーにしました。
フロントグリル/サイドステップ/エンジン部分のメッキパーツは切り跡が目立ってしまうので剥がしてシルバーで塗装。ボンネット部分はクリアーパーツのまま(研磨して縁は黒で塗装)にしてエンジンが見えるようにしてプラモデルだから出来る事にしてみました。
このキットは実車同様にフレームを組んでから車体を乗せたり、サスペンションが動いたり、ボンネットがクリアーパーツになっていたりと結構前のキットですがよく出来てます。でも、パジェロと共に長年再販されていないのが…。
