#TANGOTI podcast-
Loved this:
Normalize having a neutral reaction. We don't have to have a #HotTake/perform. Neutral would be not having to cheer people on constantly but also not pilling our challenges/anxieties onto them.
Another good point:
#SocialMedia apps force you to think you have to feel an emotion about every little thing and in a binary - if it's not good, it's bad - kind of way.
Admittedly that reflexive #negativity has quieted me on various platforms.

This #TANGOTI episode tackles lots of questions i wonder about. Do we love to hate? Is our own stress causing this negative internet style? Why are people so argumentative when i just want to post about something i read/listened to?
Some had a visceral reaction to garden lady - even to her rebuttals. They aren't happy, why is she? She's priveliged not to be working. But she's a small business. Oh so she's exploiting workers to drink coffee. No, she's the only employee.
I heard a great #podcast on my #walk today about why we might 'love to hate.'
#TANGOTI with Bridget Todd, episode titled "A woman tweeted enjoying coffee in her garden and Twitter hated it."
Aja Barber (author, Consumed) on #onlineculture built on comparison. "I genuinely think #socialmedia has gotten us to this miserable place where folks are tired of being happy for other people. It's the impact of #comparisonculture while everyone pretends it doesn't exist."
