There's a bit of a weird thing with conventions in #Virginia going on I haven't seen anyone talk about. A new #AnimeConvention #TanukiCon is establishing itself in Fredericksburg while Anime Mid-Atlantic in the Hampton area has rebranded to #TanukiFest after a long hiatus.

Each is run by different groups and fortunately Tanuki Con is in late fall while TanukiFest should be in summer if it sticks with similar timing to Anime Mid-Atlantic.
