Very nice setup. I have an original Echoplex EP-3 that I take everywhere. Is the Fulltone cool - he's gone out of business now. How do you get on for spares?

I was thinking of getting the new Echofix but still lust after a valve tape echo.

it features prominently on the piano but does more subtle things like tape saturation and feedback oscillation in the background. I'm even more in love

patched the echo fix in, did some first tests on piano (steinberg sim), synth (moog grandmother) and guitar (tele)

everything immediately has the magic touch, this "it sounds like a record" warmth. there is a reason why artists from pink floyd and santana to ólafur arnalds and nils frahm, as well as countless engineers used and still use tape

digital can't touch it

I've ordered an echo fix ef-x2 tape echo. I had the opportunity to hear it live, and I'm blown away by the analogue warmth, the beautiful sound and all the tiny imperfections that make things come alive. move over, portishead!
