During feeding time for the #tarantulas this evening, the Pterinochilus murinus bolted which resulted in me briefly handling it - something I'm not a fan of generally but especially not with that species. Their common name is Orange Baboon #Tarantula (OBT) but they are better known as Orange Bitey Thing.

On a mostly unrelated note, my C. darlingi is easily spooked and loves to bolt. It's pretty small still so we don't know its sex but, if it is female, we're leaning towards naming it Mrs. Dash and, if male, maybe Michael Boltin'.
