Reading #Educated now by Tara Westover and amazed how widely this American virus of anti-science, apocalyptic, Christian Nationalist sentiment has been brewing since at least the 1990s. Shameful how it has victimized so many children, and grown like a cancer in my country. We ignorantly anticipated "the End Times" back in the 70s, but apparently, that was just Act 1. Have we grown as a species at all? #tarawestover #Mormon

BOOK REVIEW: What is the value of an education? In the memoir Educated, it is an opportunity to free yourself from the shackles of repression. The author displays courage and strength in rising up from suppression in the face of ignorance. This was a five-star read I can't recommend enough.
