So sieht es am südlichsten Punkt von Europas Festland aus, das Gelände im Hintergrund sind schon Ausläufer des Rifgebirges zu sehen. Tatsächlich hat man diesen Blick nicht oft weil es hier gerne mal neblig ist, ich hatte also Glück dieses Foto machen zu können.

With 3,487 Black Kite crossing The #Straits yesterday we had news from Dakar, Senegal 🇸🇳 where over 3,000 where counted passing !
Today a strong levante wind may delay all but the most determined to cross the #14km divide between Europe and Africa !

1,289 Black #Kites crossed The #Straits this morning with 13 Booted #Eagles and 68 Short-toed Eagles crossing alongside them. This immature Short-toed #Eagle took a little break next to us, perhaps to get in the #migratory #mindfulness required !

Over 300 Short-toed #Eagles piling into Europe via the #14km of The #Straits here this morning, ahead of the rain!
Alongside them some of the first Booted Eagles and more Black #Storks, White Storks and Black Kites!
Whilst this was flowing overhead a Fin Whale passed offshore!

Wenn ich mich recht erinnere ist ja heute #meermittwoch. Da schicke ich doch gleich mein aktuellstes #meerbild ins Rennen. Zu sehen ist die Brandung des Atlantiks vor der „Isla de Tarifa“, vorgestern mit meiner Olympus aufgenommen. Im Hintergrund sind die Berge der afrikanischen Küste zu sehen. Hier in Tarifa befindet sich die Wasserscheide zwischen Mittelmeer und Atlantik und der südlichste Punkt Kontinentaleuropas. #spanien #tarifa #afrika #atlantik #mittelmeer #olympus
