I'm waiting at the airport for my flight to #Montreal for the upcoming #ICAO #RPAS Symposium so I thought this would be a good time to share a little bit about myself.

I'm an #aerospaceengineer who spent some time working in #safety and #certification of emerging aviation technologies. I made the transition to academia a few years ago and now I'm a senior research fellow at the School of Engineering in the #AustralianNationalUniversity. I am also a fellow with #TASDCRC. I research #SafetyManagementSystems for emerging technologies, #HumanMachineTeaming and #certification of #AutonomousSystems. I also develop short courses on these topics - one of these courses is currently open for registration https://cce.anu.edu.au/AUTONOMOUS.

I also co-host and co-produce the #AlgorithmicFutures website alongside @lizwilliams.

In my spare time I like to #sew, #draw, #paint and #read.
