I found a branch of a dead tree that was covered in little blue fungi (Mycena interrupta - Pixie's Parasol). This is about half. the others were too high up to get a decent photo.

In February, I found this mossy nest that had fallen from a tree. It's still there, and in the second photo you can see that the moss has continued to grow and the nest is now part of the forest floor.

Birds bathing in our creek in Lilydale, Tasmania with bird and burbling water sounds. The larger birds is a Yellow-throutaed Honeyeater. Other bathing birds are Silvereyes and on the opposite bank are Superb Fairy-wrens.

Just found a fallen nest made mainly from moss. When it was in the tree it would have been almost invisible.
