I went to the #Cezanne exhibition at #Tate_Modern a number of times... I do not think that the piece in the #Guardian today has a meaningful grasp on the achievements of the Artist. It should be recognised that not everything an Artist does is completely successful and with #Cezanne I think that he is at his best in front of an observed subject as opposed to an imagined or remembered one...

Back at #Tate_Modern for another look at #Magdalena_Abakanowicz , #Maria_Bartuszová as well as a quick look at the #Cezanne exhibition again. I was later arriving, 10:30am, and the initial rooms of the Cezanne show were very busy so I did not stay long. I also went to check on the lighting of the #Barry_Flanagan #ringn'66 and along the way found a space with odd lights. The lighting of the Flanagan was ok but the other space was clearly compromised as in the crude capture illustrated here...

At #Tate_Modern today and took a quick look at the #Magdalena_Abakanowicz exhibition. I will go back and have a proper look sometime... #sculpture
