However I would beg to differ, that just because there may be other examples of English, which some people don’t blink an eye at, this doesn’t hide the fact that your examples (apart from ‘absolve from’ are examples of and so are redundant. I can assure you that when 𝑰 hear these abortions of the language, my eyes don’t necessarily blink, but they do do an eye-roll.
