I spent today thinking what I wanted to do for my weekly 5k fix tomorrow. Should I go up the road to #Tavistock for the monthly Tavy 5k? Or perhaps go back to Central Park in #Plymouth where the Central Park parkrun is commencing again on a different route? But no. I have settled on crossing the River Tamar to visit the Mount Edgecumbe #parkrun which I am told is rather hilly. It will be a bit different taking a ferry to a run!

I'm now suspecting that the #Tavistock location may have been the original. That would make perfect sense with the 'niche' customer base The Shop had. And expansion into the 'Big City' created the Plymouth location.

I'll have to dig to see if I can verify that at all.

As has become a sort of tradition for this time of year, today we went on a longer #bike ride. Our journey took us on a trip from home to #Okehampton and then along the #NCN27 to #Tavistock and then on to #Plymouth. Part of that #CycleRoute is called #DrakesTrail and has many interesting #bridges on it. The one pictured (with me on it) here is called #GemBridge and is a #steel #arch which was only opened in #2012.
