2) The wealthy make up about 10% of the population, and wealthy mass shooters make up a minuscule fraction of that, so I am perfectly fine with only The Wealthy being able to afford copious amounts of ammunition.

I *highly* disagree. Such a tax should be our 1ST step. NOTHING can be passed FASTER or would have a more IMMEDIATE impact on #MassShootings. A weapons ban (IF you EVER get it passed) would still take YEARS before the number of weapons in circulation falls to the point it impacts such crime. #ThinkOutsideTheBox #TaxCordite
