I just went to Wellfield #Bookshop to pick up a couple of #books for my #TBR pile. It’s the closest #IndieBookshop to me and I can always buy something good from there.

I’ve seen Rivers of London by Ben Aaronovitch around for a while now, but it’s taken me this long to get it. I’ve also heard of The Tatami Galaxy by Tomohiko Morimi. Apparently it got turned into an #anime, but I know nothing more than that.

I love reading #fantasy and I found myself preparing posts for books that are on my TBR, also sharing what makes them pop to me.

This week, I took a first look into Burningblade and Silvereye by Django Wexler (an author I loved in his The Shadow Campaigns) and I cannot wait to start my #reading journey through this epic fantasy, with plenty of magic and a siblings rivalry (with an unusual origin).

This time, I found another beauty, with the Saga of the Black Warrior by Larry Correia and it feels like a familiar story with unique perspective and an intolerant lead (intolerant for greys).

I had the pleasure of listening to an interview with @LaineNooney about their book The Apple II Age: How the Computer Became Personal on the Vice Cyber podcast.

I loved the bit about how printshop put a smiley face on computers and gamified creativity and I'm curious about what they wrote about the value of retro computing without nostalgia. Easy add to my #TBR list.
