Heute bei der Schulfeier waren so viele ehemalige Schüler (d,m,w). Kids mit denen ich im wahrsten Sinne gelacht u. geweint habe. Jetzt sind sie junge Erwachsene, die erfolgreich durchs Leben gehen u. ich bin unglaublich stolz und froh, dass ich sie ein stückweit begleiten durfte!

All good things must come to an end.

It's my final weekend before I head back to the classroom. It's been a lightly productive spring break for me. I did some housework, yard work, school work. Did some writing, some reading, hung out with the fam. Nothing flashy or exciting, just fun and relaxing. Good thing too.

Summer vacation's 11 weeks away. [Deep, bracing breaths]. I can do this. 😂

Do I have a ton of grading to do? Yep. Am I doing any of it? Nope.

I'm cooked, mentally, so I'm using today to jot down some story ideas, revise a couple of pieces, hopefully send them out on submission, and generally tend to my personal life interests.
