What is this?

It is 16 skeins of #handspun yarn taking a collective bath in my bathtub. Very relaxing at 36°C.

I made these over the past year and now I finally get to wash and finish them off. So much yarn! I didn't know I spun so much!

So, I promptly disappear off-air, so to speak.

But, I have been spinning. Thanks to some feedback and suggestions, I've hit on this plan:

Flat stages = spinning something easy. I'm using a very small drop spindle.

Hilly stages = spinning something a little more challenging: a larger single.

Mountain/semi-mountain stages = plying, first the larger thread with itself, & the result of that to the thinner, "binder" thread.

I spun 527g natural grey Corridale fiber in 5 skeins of 3 ply, spinning and plying alltogether 3,548 km to get 887m of Yarn, with about 168m/100g

Restday

I had a busy day but also a bit of energy, and after a nice nap in the afternoon I finished my single i didn't finish the day prior. It felt easy so i even thought to start another one but it was restday after all and there are still two weeks ahead of us where motivation is due.

i got my first vaccination yesterday.
When I started my spinning, my arm already hurt a bit as sideeffect and I was exhausted and tense from the day anyway, so i spun a shorter stage and didn't push me at all to finish this single, this is how i far i did come.
