Just read through and wanted to share the following article from @hacks4pancakes. If you are in #Leadership, be it #TeamLeader or #Management, please read, digest, evaluate and read again. When I first discussed my lead role with Manager's these are the exact expectations I shared.
I see the most important part of my role as an advocate and shield for the members of my team. I sit squarely between management, and any other departments, to provide as much buffer to let the team get on with their work without distractions or disruption. I have the voice and responsibility to say no when the team doesn't.
