What do people do with backup 2FA codes?

I have a TOTP app on my phone, rather than use TOTP in the Password Manager (feels a bit too much like single factor), but then wanting a reliable and encrypted place for backup codes, I have been putting those in the PWM... which is back to the same issue.

Before that I was just saving them in text files in my documents folder...

Has anyone seeing this, my #Mechanicalkeyboard has started to add extra characters in when typing. For example when I use the Q key it add a 9 like this q9 or Q9 - or when I use the ! Key it add * like this !*

Any ideas? I tried unplugging and replugging, turning off pc and turning on, turning off pc with keyboard unplugged and re turning on with keyboard unplugged then plugged in after boot up. #techsupport #itsupport #techadvice

Migrating from one phone to a new one?

Don't forget to be dilligent and log in to all your accounts on the new device from your old one BEFORE you wipe it and sell it. I can't recover your email password if the only device that's ever logged into it is blank.

And for fucks sake, use the password manager on the phone.

@DustyZed 1080p aka Full HD is a realistic minimum depending on where installed. Video doorbells are worth checking out. If you're not too tech savvy with it all deffo find a local cctv installer and work with them

Hintergrund:

Eine von uns kauft immer wieder Überraschungspakete, die Wolle wird ohne Banderole verschickt.

Offenbar war hier ein Bobbel mit etwas stark Allergie-Auslösendem dabei. (Evtl. Angora).

Es wäre extrem cool, wenn es eine entsprechende App gäbe, die erkennt ob Baumwolle, Schafwolle, Angora, etc zu dem Material gehören.

#LAN experts: is there an inherent security hole if a WAN gateway (cable modem) is connected to a port-based #VLAN on a switch, which allows all other ports to participate in that VLAN?
The router/firewall on this switch has a virtual interface and routes allowed traffic to the default VLAN #techadvice

I gave up the battle with #FairEmail on the new phone after a few attempts to authenticate, and installed #K-9Mail. That took only two attempts, but I lost the will to continue with setting up to send mail. I forgot to uninstall FairEmail. This morning both clients are merrily notifying new mail.
