Today was Too Much Thursday.

Slipping along nicely, until a firmware update on a switch cascaded into 50% of $workplace's enterprise storage platform going offline.

Pretty much everything stopped: finance, HR, student records, admissions, sports bookings, a load of our backend admin tools, the VLE, and so on and so forth.

We got it back with excellent support from the vendor, but then having to restart loads of machines and services got a bit tedious.

So yeah. Too Much Thursday.
