Why is it when you contact #TechnicalSupport for anything, youβre supposed to be the King of All Things Computer? Iβm not a newbie*, but if I understood all this encoding/server/protocol/crypto/cloud-o/Bingo was his name-o stuff they keep asking me to test, Iβd hardly need to be contacting tech support. Itβs like going to a hospital for surgery and being expected to perform it yourself!
*And what if I were? How the heck do newbies get their problems fixed?
Recently took over three new teams of support technicians at work, and it's been a blast coming up with ways to align the different cultures and attitudes.

I have a Google form we use to record raffle entries for a cat rescue. Supporters enter by adding a Facebook comment with how many entries they want then one of the rescueβs volunteers adds them to the form - name and number of entries.
Is there then a way to get Google Sheets to automatically duplicate each entry (name) for as many times as the number of entries given in the form?

Great #TechSupport actually costs less than cheap #TechnicalSupport, and I really wish I had a way to measure things like "team member mental health" as it relates to tech support.
A team that is growing, learning, and enjoying work will cost more in payroll, but I'm so convinced that they will cost the company less overall.
Treat all your team members like first class team members, and watch them flourish.

I generally find that if the #TechnicalSupport requires a phone call, it tends to be worse than if it can be handled with chat.
Looking forward to when Chat-GPT is trained on the docs, faq, and support for a project and provides conversational support in discord and elsewhere for wayward users.

Why people never actually read support tickets? They seem to just scan for keywords and send me a canned response. Don't send me a friggin help doc. If the answer was in your documentation, I wouldn't have had to open a support case. Please read what I have sent you and respond to my specific concerns. And don't just answer my first question. Answer all of them. That's why I put them in a numbered list.

OK so just putting this out there in case anyone has a clue, but I'm struggling with mouse issues - basically (on Linux and Windows) my mouse cursor just randomly stops for a second - on Linux it someone will stop permanenly but will restart if I disconnect and reconnect the mouse. It affects any mouse I try and there's nothing from xinput (it just shows iit's still there). Changing ports doesn't help. I'm going a little mad with this
