I've just finished reading the book Noise: A Flaw in Human Judgement by Daniel Kahneman, Olivier Sibony, and Cass R. Sunstein. What a great read. Anyone involved in designing an or should have a look.

Blurb: In , Daniel Kahneman, Cass R. Sunstein, and Olivier Sibony show how noise contributes significantly to errors in all fields, including , , economic , police behavior, food safety, bail, security checks at airports, , and personnel selection.
