Can someone techsplain to me why I should pay US$75 for a mechanical keyboard? Is it that much better?

@ant_pruitt @leo @jasonhowell I have Amazon gift cards from Chris that will get me a quest 2 for about $70. I have no real interest in VR or AR, but I want to watch YouTube and YouTube TV on it.

Can I watch YouTube TV and YouTube via apps on the device?

I don’t ask for much, truly.

I simply want to watch “The Vampire Lovers” (1970) in 4K without having to buy a Blu-Ray player & screen or converting my iMac into a Blu-Ray player.

Because if I do either of these latter things, then I may as well buy more Blu-Rays.

And I’m not sure I want to go down that rabbit hole. (I do I want to know that I *can*, hence my earlier question.)

Okay, it’s time for a nerd question. Help me, nerds.

I want to connect a Blu-Ray player to my iMac and watch movies etc on the screen.

Have you done this? Would you recommend it?

Still getting moved in and settled. Here's a tech moving question. If my 2006 Mac Mini says 110-240 VAC 50/60Hz, I can plug that directly into the wall with a UK/US plug adapter without a transformer and not worry about frying the innards? Don't want to find out the hard way!

TIA

Why can't sites load the original page directly instead of telling me to go to the original website?

I guess I found the limits of when it comes to ...

I.e. how do I force a mailserver to reject anything but encrypted (PGP/MIME, optionally also S/MIME) eMails?

And yes, this is related to this post.

Because yeah, I'm sick and tired of and I think that it's long overdue for me to have to communications.

Does there exist a cable that’s a (male) lightning connector at one end, a (male) 3.5mm jack at the other, and has a mic built into the cable (preferably near(er) to the 3.5mm end)? Kind of like this product, but for plugging into an iPhone: amzn.eu/d/iPixZSf

I'm curious about something with RSS. Is it possible to set an RSS feed for a single document?

For instance, say you have a page of resources for a topic.

Maybe you have a page of resources for local trans youth in your area, or a page where you update a list of your favorite local parks.

Does RSS work in such a way that this HTML page could have an RSS feed that someone could subscribe to, to see updates to this one page?

Good morning fellow users (? ?), what's your preferred to use here? I'm currently using the official one but I understand there are a handful of alternatives.
