Also, not being handled the service manual for whatever I'm buying (vehicle, computer, washing machine). I should know what I have in my hands and how should i fix it in case it breaks.

Oh wait, we are supposed to just throw stuff away nowadays....

Hopefully it will change in the near future, the EU seems to be somewhat going in that direction
