With the increasing use of Performance Improvement Plans (PIPs) in Australian tech over the last couple of months, the Professionals Union are running a session on them next week.

106 followers · 2771 posts · Server mastodon.socialPlease point me to efforts by the #TechWorkers fired by #google (and the other 4 #monopolies) to build solidarity networks with other #workers who've long suffered the #FreeMarket greed and have found it difficult to put food on the table, taken up predatory jobs in the #GigEconomy, faced evictions, worked 16h long shifts with diapers to avoid bathroom breaks, and contemplated self-harm.
Best if these efforts began before the recent #TechLayoffs to help pick genuine ones.
