Read my did-not-finish (i.e. scoreless) review of Don DeLillo's "White Noise," in which I approach the book for the first time since reading it at the age of 18, 36 years ago when the book first came out, and realize with a lot of dismay that it's much, much, much, much, MUCH worse than my teenaged nostalgic memories remembered it being. goodreads.com/review/show/2973

I don't like putting stuff on NCBI. I have the reads and assemblies for 274 E.coli isolates. Today I only got through the biosample table and am in the middle of the SRA metadata table in half a day. I haven't even started to deal with the assemblies. This could take me all week or longer.
