Cheating a little here, so gonna say Corey almost in film ... Corey Haim was originally cast as the younger brother Tim in River's Edge (1986), but he developed pneumonia in the first few days of filming. He was replaced by Joshua John Miller. Here's a drawing of Corey Haim as Tim inspired by one of the few scenes filmed before the casting change!
