And check out our latest 5 Star Review on Google from a client: "I called Alyson when I needed immediate help to respond to a demand letter I had received. Alyson was able to start right away and helped to resolve the matter pre-litigation. She was responsive, communicated well, and I was very happy with the results she obtained."
We may be small- but small doesn't mean we can't provide the same level of service that you expect from an Am Law 100 firm.
@alysondecker Congrats. I’m at the beginnings of my own #teenylaw adventure, interviewing for my first new hire since my law partner retired. Lots of emotions, as being a solo is so very different from being a partner of someone with 25+ more years of experience, and reading this post of yours has me focusing on the more positive ones.
Just bought my first booth ever for my law firm at a convention... I keep telling myself I only need 1 lit client or 2-3 transactional clients from the event for this to pay for itself, but, damn, this is more than I spent on all marketing last year and I still need to rent booth furnishings, get event insurance, and buy decorations and swag.

Nothing is more flattering than repeat clients. And, thankfully, I have a bunch of them.
Also, maybe thankfully is not the right word.
Because I have earned this repeat business by being very good at what I do.
Just made my first ever shareholder distribution to myself from my law firm! Between that and the recent 401k deferrals and contributions I'm sort of realizing that yeah, I can do this.
After years of law firms I worked for telling me I couldn't survive on my own without them, I know for sure now that that is not true.
I can survive and maybe even thrive.
Okay- analysis complete. My firm's revenue came from 4 different service lines: FGC, Hourly Lit, Contingency, and Mediations. FGC brought in the most revenue, but hourly lit was more profitable per hour and per client. Still a pleasant surprise to see that FGC was topping out the list and it reassured me that my initial business model of focusing on FGC client development was making sense. Even though this was a pain, it is really helpful for setting realistic growth goals for 2023. #teenylaw
I spent a little time today working on trying to figure out income from various different types of client engagements to set revenue growth goals for next year (and also figure out what services are the most profitable for me so that I can focus on them) and the fact I’ve been using excel instead of fancy accounting software (I just upgraded this month) is making me question my ability to use a calculator. #teenylaw #lawfirms

Just had an amazing chat with @KVPTexas@twitter.com for a future #HowILawyer ep!
I’ve been a fan of her on Twitter for a while but she was so thoughtful sharing about her path to #TeenyLaw.
So great to get to meet my #appellatetwitter peeps (and if you don’t follow her, go do that!)
