Another leg of the Teifi Valley Trail route checked from Newcastle Emlyn to Cenarth. Following the old single carriage tracks alongside Gelli Gatti Manor House, used before the ‘new’ road was built.

Day two of my adventure along the Teifi Valley Trail. From Pen-Rhiw, near Llandysul to Pont Allt-y-Cafan on the Ceredigion/Carmarthenshire border. Great walking location despite the rain today. The aim is for this trail to be launched in September - definitely worth doing!

Fantastic adventure on the Teifi Valley Trail again today. Only a short afternoon stroll from Maesycrugiau to Pen-rhiw, by Llandysul. Despite the distance it was full of stunning scenery, interest and. Bloody big hill at the end!

My 2nd waycheck prior to the forthcoming launch of the Teifi Valley Trail - Lechryd to St Dogmaels. I challenge anyone to find a more scenic and interesting route anywhere along the Trail. Gorgeous riverside walking through a deep cut ravine, Cilgerran castle, Teifi Marshes nature reserve and the ancient site of St Dogmaels abbey.

My first check of the Teifi Valley Trail completed from Llangeler to Newcastle Emlyn via Allt y Cafan in blistering heat. The route is being created by Walkers are Welcome volunteers and navigable through sleepy hollows and lesser used footpaths.

Really interesting edition of the Walk This Way newsletter from the Walkers are Welcome team celebrating ‘Wales by Trails’ with Visit Wales.

It’s brilliant to see an article about the collaborative project to launch the Teifi Valley Trail! I’ll be checking and creating route descriptions this weekend, so expect lots of photos to follow!
