@jcf I feel that #teitter may last longer because it’s more of a business than #reddit and is even a tool used by businesses for client engagement and support.

#reddit on the other hand is a publicity run and controlled community running on a platform that happens to be a business. It’s also really for the more (not much) advanced user, like I can see my gran on Twitter, not Reddit.

Elon also not a complete arse defaming creators and insulting users.

Bei der Übernahme von #Teitter mutmaßten manche, Elon #Musk habe einen Plan, sie wüssten nur nicht, welchen. Jetzt wird immer deutlicher: Da ist kein Plan weit und breit!

I believe it can matter immensely who owns the server you’re on re: privacy (data harvesting of yr signup info), yr tweets/posts, if there’s a means for that server host to suppress, delete your posts or yr presence frm posting thru that server — incldg deleting prior things u post. Of course, w/ this protocol approach, you can host yr own server.. 1/
