Spring flood
A lot of hydropower is wasted here. Most of the year the dam is closed and the water goes to the power plant seen in the left corner. This is Skottfossen just north of Skien. I drove over the bridge you see in the picture at noon on a sunny today. The photo was taken a couple of years ago – same situation. I don't live far away and at times like this I hear it from the bedroom. Defunct paper industry on the right. Se Caption.
