I think it was last connected in 2005.

I was fighting with BellSouth (AKA Southern Bell) about a static problem when it rained. Bell said it was house wiring (inside wiring after this box), so I would have to pay. I knew it it was system wiring because I connected a phone directly to this box and still got static. Company wouldn't bother to come out.
