An hourglass with wings carved on a 19th Century gravestone in Sighthill Cemetery in Glasgow.
The hourglass symbolises that the sands of time will eventually run out for everyone, while wings signify the concept that time flies by. Thus, together they emphasise that our time one Earth fleeting.

#观剧笔记##新世纪福音战士##eva##tempusfugit##青年一个狗# 我对希伯来宗教的好感源头就是eva。包括考古文本，宗教艺术，音乐，希伯来宗教对人类组织形式的影响（加尔文教派）。当年还是初中的时候，在穷山僻壤的垃圾中学里，这是那个环境下的一个洼地少年能接触到的最好的东西了。我在电视台播放的零碎片段中记住了这是一件让我感兴趣的东西，但并没有系统性地观看。之后在那段时间的某个夏天的运动会上，我们这些“书呆子”中的另一位朋友向我讲述了完整的eva世界观和剧情，虽然当时我感兴趣的知识一只只“天使”的具体能力，但也在我尚未初始化的脑海里留下了对“信仰造就的力量”的格式化。后来发生了很多很多事，世道很坏，我自己也软弱，交织在一起，让我和这位朋友成为了平行线。我在最后关头也没能帮上他反而逃避逃离。这件事让我对我房间里的大象第一次产生了生理性的狂怒与憎恶，附带着对自己软弱的愧疚和无奈，希望有一天我能赎罪。不知道我们能不能把它斗败，但无论如何我都要看一眼没有它的世界是怎么样的。怀着这样的信念，我幸存下来，并决定幸存下去。#不息锋刃# 主啊吾大概是很难荣耀您了，但依然卑微地祈求您的怜悯和照看。
