New question for #basstodon - not a happy one.

Sometimes I get accute pain on my wrist on my fretting hand. Mostly when playing chords or doing certaing weird stretches, but mostly chords. I think I am very careful warming up slowly, ergonomics and such, but it does not seem to help.

I am strongly suspecting #tendonitis after reading experiences from others. Most people recommend doing stretches and/or taking a break from playing.

Any advice? #bassguitar

Anyway haven't been on much today because my right arm decided to have a #tendonitis flareup and it's hard to type with it properly braced. Or do anything for that matter. :( Hopefully it chills out so I can take the braces off it in a little while.

Ugh #tendonitis wants to take away most everything that brings me joy. Gave up learning guitar. Limit handwriting, fiber arts (handwork). Chopping veg. Yard work, house painting. Not picking up whittling any time soon. Changes how I have sex even.
