@ellie indeed, actually there was a guy on the #TenereTravelTrophy who had the acerbis tank, I think it’s 26l and it looked a lot less bulky than the world raids fuel tanks.

And it’s done. The #TenereTravelTrophy 23 is over. What an amazing event. Organisation was fantastic and the trails and locations in France, Andorra and Spain outstanding.

It’s the final day of the #TenereTravelTrophy and the most off-road kilometres of the week. We leave Andorra and head up into the Pyrenees reaching 2500m along old smuggling routes. Steep, rocky ascents and descents with the occasional river crossing add to the fun.

Day 5 of the #TenereTravelTrophy with only one more day to go. It was all tarmac today as we rode through the tunnels of the Galamus gorge to Andorra. The bends were tight and as we rode higher the temperature dropped. Tonight we have a hotel for a change, complete with classic cars and #motorcycles in the lobby.

Half way through the #TenereTravelTrophy with waterfalls, burnt valleys and the highest bridge in Europe.

Day 3 of the #TenereTravelTrophy started with a quick lap of a go-kart track then through the Massif Central and more extinct volcanoes than anywhere else in the world. The trails were great with some sandy mud mixed in with some muddy sand.

Day 2 of the #TenereTravelTrophy. The first real day on the road, 360k from Dreux, through the Loire Valley to Auvergne. The day started warm, reached 31° then we were hit with torrential rain. It turned the clay trails into a skating rink.

Arrived at Ténéré town near Dreams,FR for the start of the #TenereTravelTrophy tomorrow.

Woot, just had confirmation that my bike is on its way to the start line for the #TenereTravelTrophy and I will be following in 4 days.

Ooo, I’ve just found out about the Ténéré Travel Trophy. A 7 day off-road trip from northern France to the Pyrenees.
