Yeah, Threads, existing.
I’ll stay here expecting BluSky anyway.
Not only because I hate Musk and I want an alternative after what he has destroyed, but also because there’s a social media platform with (probably unintended) reference to Great Tengri, merely by its name.

I realized I am actually a fan of “Old Tengrism”. I mean, they literally had 99 gods, some of them good, others bad - but still part of pantheon. Then they had lower gods, shamans/shamanesses (actually even the word shaman was first used by Western anthropologists in researching Central Asian religions), and so on.

And then they believe that humans and animals alike had souls - not one, but many souls. Depending on which tribe/group you belonged to, you could have three, four, five, seven or even more souls:

And even the Tree of Life seems to have been “invented” there and then “imported” to Nordic Religion (and others):

And what is so beautiful is this part: “Tengrism is based on personal relationship with the gods and spirits and personal experiences, which cannot be fixiated in writings; thus there can be no prophet, holy scripture, place of worship, clergy, dogma, rite and prayers.” Contrast that with e.g. Islam, Judaism, Christianity.

Yeah, I guess, I *could* be a “Tengrist” (how would you even call that?)
