The upper piece appears to defy physics, but it does not.

Made from 3 curves of spring metal and string.
Plus a polygonal shape held in the centre with fine elastic line (to look as if it's floating).

Cutting any one line would make the entire structure collapse.

New #pottery project, new post. This time I'm going to show the most ambitious by now, a #tensegrity structure with a little house on top of it. I've already build the house designed by two my architectes collegues and the two part of the structure where I'm going to lean the house. I'm afraid that the #ceramic is going to be too much fragile but I want to trust it and keeping my fingers crossed.

The Police, it seems, hadn't got the faintest idea what to do to get the protesters down. Maybe someone explained if they cut one cable the whole thing would collapse.

Later, plods, going Full Tensegrity, pre-emptively raided all over looking for tensegrity structures & materials used to make them.
