Okay Mastodon, who's that #Pokemon ? I'm normally very good at this game but this one stumped me. 5-star #TeraRaid.

To everyone:
Catch multiple Ditto. I've done something like 45 Raids and I managed to catch three 6IV Ditto. The Raids are guaranteeing 5IVs, but if you can grind it out a bit, you can have that perfect Ditto for breeding flawless shinies and competitive Pokémon.

The loot is pretty good with these: Vitamins, Stat lowering berries, Everstones, and Ability Capsules. More battles means more loot!

For anyone joining:
These raids aren't particularly difficult, but there are a lot of griefers out there basically trying to troll players. Some of these people are pulling a bait and switch; they'll have a Magikarp chosen, but will wait until the other players have locked in and immediately switch to an Iron Hands or Koraidon, making the raid all but impossible. Don't join the raid unless the host has already locked in and save yourself some grief.

For the host:
These Ditto have Imposter; they will immediately Transform and copy your Pokémon's moveset. So if you brought in a level 100 Iron Hands, you're going to have a bad time. It's best if you leave the heavy lifting to your teammates. As long as you came in with a level one Splash Magikarp, the raid should go quite well.

Online Ditto Tera Raid Tips 🧵

If you're hosting:
-Use a level one Pokémon. Think Magikarp, Sunkern, etc.
-Make sure it doesn't know any useful attacks.
-Lock in with your low level 'Mon immediately.

If you're joining:
-Pay attention to the Tera type.
-Level 100 is best but not necessary.
-Don't lock in until the host has done so.
-Leave the raid if the host has a Legendary or Paradox.
-Leave if the host won't lock in until you have.

This Cinderace Tera raid is tough. My Pokémon literally faint with out being attacked some times. And when Cinderace does attack it does bulk up and like 3 attacks back to back. What do you even do?? After spending some more time with #PokemonViolet, I am not very happy with it. I finished the story and the dex, but I just don't feel any reason to keep playing.

The #TeraRaid mechanic is cool, but it is basically the only thing you can do once you finish the game. Terastalizing pokemon just feels like a really watered down version of #MegaEvolution. The one-size-fits-all visual changes are incredibly lame and it's never used in an interesting way in the game, not even in the Elite Four.

Welp, i missed half the raid weekend and somehow ended with more Salamence than Tyranitar - and I'm missing at least 5 types of each x.x

I am unamused.
