I've been meaning to run up a cover image for my , , for months. Finally got round to it today!

What better way to represent a game about hackers on a space station than glitched text and... a space station??

Thanks @ discord peeps for the push xD

@ApplAuD7982 I've got a group starting in the next couple weeks - will add this to the list of eldritch horror game-design choices to throw at them.

It's up there with "if you've got a buddy who's up for it, there's an option to create a character that is an AI living inside a hard drive inside another character's head; that's fine, right?"

and

"how do you guys feel about one of the playbooks having access to a low-yield nuke?"

Starting to think about playbook art for my

I've been exploring to fit with the "CLI-punk" theme of the game - here's my first shot at it, an ASCII redraw of The Gunlugger from . Think this style would work perfectly for my playbook art!

Working on , my FITD hack - just drafted a Special Item sheet for characters' Cyberdecks. Special Item sheets form part of the modular sheet system I'm writing - you have a stack of sheets under your main character sheet, and you can have different panels showing on the right hand side depending on what info you need at any given time. It's performed well in playtests so far, looking forward to trying it again with the formatted sheets!

the prefix "cyber-" comes from "cybernetic", which comes from the Greek "κυβερνητικός/kubernetikos" (yeah, like the container orchestration software).

A κυβερνητικός is a person who steers/driver/pilot.

So when I call the AI driving the cyber-trains in my rpg setting a cyber-driver, that's ~cyber-cyber-ception~

Player feedback: "some of the language feels too much like a fantasy rpg. For instance, calling them 'guards'"-

I got you. CYBER-guards!

@Yora very true, smart-home/tv/phone/aleck etc.

Though as someone who's taken a module I can confirm it's ALSO the word ""... cyberspace, cyber crime, cyber attack... which, now I think about it, can also be a verb, which opens up a whole new set of words for sticking "cyber-" in front of things!!

Really enjoying the ability to just put "cyber-" in front of nouns to turn them into versions of regular nouns
