"Territorial Pissings"

Kurt Cobain Park in Aberdeen WA, on the banks of the muddy Wishkah.

The sign in the image was erected by a neighboring house on the street where Cobain grew up.  This house is on the dead end, next to the park and the bridge that Kurt would sit under to write.  The sign is comprised of messages to park visitors.  It was informational and served as a warning.  It sounds as if they've had a few visitors at their home.

One day, I may post the interview I did with the man that said he was his friend.  He vigorously told me that Kurt's nickname was "Pixie" and if "anyone says different, they are f#&king  lying.”  I just agreed and looked at the years of graphitti under the bridge that seemed to mirror Kurt's music.

I also collected some mud from the "Banks of the muddy Wishkah", near the wooden pylons that appear on the album cover of the same name.  A waitress in #Utah wanted to be tipped with a bit of the mud.  I obliged but, tipped her customarily with cash as well.
