Prioritizing #threats is a difficult task, particularly when threats are novel.
Although individuals and reports issued warnings about the possibility of a #pandemic, other near-term or long-feared postulated threats took precedent. Slow-moving and naturally occurring events rarely get the same attention as #hostilestates or #terroristgroups.
