@danwest I'm thinking some kind of katydid (family ) but Orthoptera are not my wheelhouse! Geographic location (state/province/region) would narrow it down.

iNaturalist - Greater Anglewing (Microcentrum rhombifolium)

Most of my () observations are nymphs of the introduced Meditteranean katydid ( nana). I have one nymph observation of our native greater anglewing ( rhombifolium). The antennae!

I hear a lot of them in the trees during the summer. I'll have to upload some recordings.
