Ice cream time at #KiftsgateCourtGarden near Chipping Camden in the Cotswolds. Only a short way from #Tewkesbury

It's been raining at #Tewkesbury all day, drizzle to sheets, so have baked a fruit cake:
3 cups porridge oats
1 cup strong white flour
Less than half teaspoon of bicarb.
4 or 5 ripe apricots
4 very large very unripe plums
Tub of Philadelphia cheese
Milk to make cheese fluid up to 400ml

Set oven to 200C
Chop destoned fruit coarsely
Bung all in bowl and stir until it looks like piccy.
Pile onto baking sheet & cook 25 to 27 minutes.

Went to see the reenactment of the battle of Tewkesbury. We have been a few times now, it's a great event and we had great seats! #Tewkesbury #battleoftewkesbury #reenactment #medieval #Medievalreenactment

Today we visited #Tewkesbury and witnessed the fabulously #reenacted and hilariously commentated #BattleOfTewkesbury - it was pretty fabulous to behold, actually. ⚔️

I have much admiration for everyone who partook as #reenactors and vendors around the festival grounds. 🛡️ What a day! I love the detail that goes into events like these.

Today, in #Tewkesbury , Leonhard Euler would have been in his element. Essentially most of the routes into, round and through the town are blocked with different utility works and 3 or 4 way temporary traffic signals. I have managed to choose a route taking me through three (3) of these sets of temporary traffic lights :((

Car is in dock overnight again ... this morning's bus back from #Tewkesbury was nearly 😳

Stood by the bus door at the terminus while the driver had his break ... and he promptly started to drive off without opening the doors to let me on!

A loud "Oi!!!" brought him to a halt, fortunately 😆

A fellow car park user yesterday turned up again this morning as I was buying my ticket in #Tewkesbury

Jokingly we supervised each other as we bought our tickets ... or at least he watched me talk myself through the "right" way to buy a ticket ... but politely refused my offer of supervision.

Well, in the circumstances, "Clear Off!!" seemed polite to me. He could have been much more forthright.
