I've been out sick for a few days. Damn allergies. I look in at the news today and see more on Texas... Decent, for once.

Of course it's led by Texas Democrats in the state house. Now, based on the article, this bill isn't gonna be full decriminalization BUT jail time is not automatic. A fine will be attached to lower levels of possession with a 6 month probation to remove the charge once completed.

It just needs to pass the Senate... Which is choked up with Republicans (which have killed the previous 2 attempts) I have little hope, the only sliver I see is that it's going to take money from poorer people, and thus Republicans might like that aspect.
