Objectivity was never really true, it just used to be support for the different factions of status quo was less challenged.

Knowing the bias is explicit is certainly easier to deal with than failed objectivity that ends up supporting said status quo that, in anglophone countries, is racing towards fascism.

I imagine that having their own server with a bunch of journalists on it and using a # would be the cheapest ad campaign possible.

But perhaps I'm over-estimating their appeal?

I have some well meaning advice for its current guardians: take advantage of this moment in time. If the Texas Tribune and Texas Monthly have moved into some of your territory, now is the time pivot. Write as if it is your last issue, because you never know when that day is coming. #TexasObserver
