I purchased hemp "linen" this week and washed it. If I didn't know it was hemp, I would have thought was flax at sight and touch. I thought it would wrinkle more like cotton, but washing it really softened the fibers. Hemp has a rich history in textile use and I'm delighted that it's coming back with prices comparable to flax.
