My art used to have more of an oppressive and moody atmosphere, I sometimes miss it.

Artstation's bs is another example of most big companies blatant disregard for the people that literally make them what they are. It hurts seeing art theft and artists having to explain why it hurts them, only to be mocked and dismissed. What's even worse though than these greedy companies are the individuals who never respected creators in the first place and make the prompts.

The best thing we can do is try and use alternatives and not give these companies what they want.

I am really enjoying the slower and much more focused feed on Mastodon.art . How tags are used to look up specific art, rather than to spam tags. I find the Curator Prompts also inspiring. This is genuinely how I feel an art community should be run!

I feel anxious seeing all these unmasked people indoors, like it's not the worst thing in the world to be slightly inconvenienced by a face covering for some shopping.
