For the last day of #TextureWeek in #fiberuary, I am posting this mosaic baby blanket I made for my eldest. I love that the secondary color was a thicker yarn than the primary - that really made the mosaic pop!

I thought this shawl was a pretty fun design with all the different stitches/textures but I didn't love it in the two colours it was designed for. So I went with bunch of minis/leftovers plus a contrast colour and I love it. Made it last year around this time and it's still in rotation when it's cold.

Another #Fiberuary texture piece: the reverse of my February shawl is looking delightfully spiky, even though it's going to get blocked flat eventually. One of these days I'll learn how to block spiky things, though!

It's texture week for #Fiberuary so here's some texture I'm wearing around my neck today. This is an old Romi Hill mystery knit made out of this yarn called "floating" that is so aptly named. It's got alpaca in it and it's light and fluffy and oh so warm.

Looking for something to post for texture week has made me realise how little texture work I’ve done. Seeing other people’s posts is inspiring me to want to add more texture work to my queue.

This is a jumper that I made for my BFF’s partner for his 30th as a joint present from us both (she bought the yarn, I did the knitting). The pattern is Sir Lancelot by Drops design. I made it in 2014 but I seem to remember it was a fun knit
