recently listened to episode 171 of the Common Descent podcast, which is about the Tethys sea.
It is a good episode, except for the fact that the Paleozoic, Mesozoic, and Cenozoic incarnations of the Tethys are each different enough and complex enough to deserve full episode in their own right ... ah well.
